We headed toward the Tribute Center on Liberty street and along the way could see banners that we remember from the days following 911. There was a music concert at the center, but there was an admission fee so we skipped it.
It is a beautiful day, with great views of the new construction.
And then there are the characters that make the city so interesting. The gentleman in the long robe is predicting the end of the world.
I found the ribbons of remembrance on the fence surrounding St Paul's Chapel.
It is a long day and many of us, including this street vendor on Fulton Street, are tired.
We ended the day by attending a dance performance in Rockefeller Park, in Battery Park City.
On the way home we can see that preparations for tomorrow continue, video screens are being tested and security heightened.
We need to rest for tomorrow, we are going to attend a community service that starts at sunrise. Hope we make it.
